Missed doses or stopped treatment
The patient may miss doses or stop taking the medication altogether.
Patient Experience Platform for Compounding Pharmacies
RxFlavor gives every patient a simple path from flavor selection to first-dose support, medication education, and timely follow-up—without adding another complicated workflow for pharmacy staff.

It starts with the RxFlavor Flavor Wizard and continues throughout the medication journey.
The Flavor Wizard is the beginning—not the end
A compounded medication only creates value when the patient can successfully take it. RxFlavor begins with a patient-friendly Flavor Wizard, then continues with education, first-dose check-ins, problem detection, and support throughout treatment.
The patient scans the pharmacy’s QR code or opens a secure link.
The patient answers a short questionnaire and receives relevant flavor guidance and Administration Guides.
RxFlavor follows up with useful education, first-dose check-ins, progress questions, and an easy way to request pharmacy help.
Low-friction entry
Pharmacy teams should not have to leave their primary system, recreate patient records, or manually launch every questionnaire. RxFlavor can begin with a QR code placed on the counter, a printed card, a bag insert, or a secure link sent by text or email.
The pharmacy QR code is the primary low-friction entry point. The Flavor Wizard makes it easy for patients to begin—flavor is the first question; medication success is the larger goal.
Medication Success Journey
RxFlavor stays with the patient after flavor selection. Timing is configurable for your pharmacy—stages below use approximate days, not rigid clinical schedules.
Patient completes the Flavor Wizard and receives relevant guidance, administration tips, and Administration Guide videos.
RxFlavor asks how the first dose went and identifies difficulty, refusal, or questions early.
The patient receives contextual guidance based on patient type, medication form, age, species, and reported challenges.
RxFlavor asks whether administration is becoming easier and offers additional support when needed.
The patient can report that they are continuing, running low, stopped treatment, or need help. RxFlavor does not know refill dates—it asks whether the patient is still taking the medication or running low.
The real cost
When a patient or pet rejects a compounded medication—or struggles to take it—the pharmacy absorbs more than a remake. Missed doses, repeat calls, and lost confidence add up quickly.
The patient may miss doses or stop taking the medication altogether.
Staff spend time resolving administration problems after the prescription has left.
Time goes to problems that education and early check-ins might have surfaced sooner.
The formulation may need to be adjusted or remade after a failed first experience.
A difficult experience can erode trust in the pharmacy’s compounded medications.
Future business and refill opportunities may be lost when patients quietly give up.
RxFlavor helps patients successfully take compounded medications—from flavor selection through first-dose support and ongoing treatment—not just at the moment of compounding.
How it works
The Flavor Wizard makes it easy for patients to begin. RxFlavor then supports education, check-ins, and pharmacy alerts through the Medication Success Journey.
Place your pharmacy QR code at the counter, on a bag insert, or send a secure link by SMS or email.

Simple follow-up questions identify refusal or difficulty early, when your pharmacy can still help.
Staff receive meaningful notifications when a patient reports a problem, stops treatment, or requests help.

RxFlavor supports patient education, first-dose follow-up, early problem detection, pharmacy intervention, and continued medication use—while keeping staff focused on patients who actually need help.

Give patients useful help outside pharmacy hours before problems escalate.
Every patient gets the same thoughtful path from flavor to follow-up.

FAQ
No. RxFlavor is a standalone web app that runs alongside your pharmacy management system—no PMS integration is required. Your existing software remains the system of record. Patients typically enter through your pharmacy QR code or a secure link; staff review Flavor Requests and alerts when intervention is needed.
No. RxFlavor is not an EMR and is not designed to hold a patient chart. It supports the Medication Success Journey: flavor preferences, administration education, check-ins, and optional internal references so your team can find prior history. Security, access, and any BAA requirements are covered during onboarding.
No. RxFlavor does not calculate doses, prescribe treatment, screen interactions, or make clinical recommendations. It helps patients successfully take compounded medications through flavor guidance, education, and follow-up. The pharmacist retains final judgment on every selection.
No. RxFlavor is designed as pharmacist-controlled decision support. The initial recommendation uses structured patient preferences, pharmacy context, restrictions, and transparent ranking logic. As outcome data grows, AI may assist with pattern detection and ranking improvements, but the pharmacist remains responsible for the final selection.
Every recommendation is shown with the inputs behind it: what the patient selected, what they reported avoiding, what the pharmacy has available, and how much comparable outcome data exists. When evidence is limited, RxFlavor says so rather than presenting a confident-looking number it cannot support.
Follow-up is optional and consent-based. It only happens if the patient or caregiver agrees at the end of the Flavor Wizard. Check-ins are sent on a configurable schedule—often around a few days after the first dose and again later in treatment—asking about administration difficulty, not whether the medication clinically worked. RxFlavor does not know refill dates.
You get full access to your plan for 14 days. Enter your payment information today — you won't be charged until your trial ends, and you can cancel anytime before then. There are no setup fees and no long-term contract.
Use the QR code at the counter on a pharmacy device, or walk through the Flavor Wizard with the caregiver directly. Delivery is flexible—SMS, email, or in-person QR.
More choices are not the same as the right choice—and flavor is only the first step. RxFlavor helps you select a flavor based on what the patient reported, then supports them through Administration Guides and check-ins so administration problems surface early instead of after the patient quietly gives up.
